Giving Thanks Campaign

I am amazed at the impact that Tri-CAP has on our community.  The organization glides behind the scenes, usually unnoticed, helping those most in need with basic needs like housing and energy assistance, transportation, and money management when the dollars need to stretch even further.  Because of our basic structure, we can utilize funds to target special needs.  Here’s one example.

I was at a local coffee shop and was wearing my Tri-CAP shirt.  One of the servers came by and asked if I worked at Tri-CAP.  When I said yes, she shared with me that if it had not been for Tri-CAP, her daughter would have been hospitalized.  She said that her husband had just lost his job, and the COBRA payments for healthcare were so high, they could not pay them.  He was working again, but had to wait a month before his insurance kicked in. Her daughter takes medication daily, and they only had 4 doses left.  She called every Pharmacy in town, and finally Coborns mentioned Tri-CAP as a possibility to help with this.

This fund is very limited, but we were able to help a family through a period of time that could have lasting devastating effects.  Please consider us for one of your top three charitable gifts this year.
