Free Tax Preparation services for 2026 are available by appointment ONLY!
At this time, all appointment request slots are full due to high demand. We are not accepting additional requests. If availability opens up, we will reopen the form to accept more appointment requests for a later date. Please consider using Tri-CAP’s Online Free Tax filing option linked below.
If you have completed your appointment request form, please allow time for our team to review your information and contact you. We are currently working through a high volume of tax appointment requests. Rest assured, we will contact all in-progress tax clients as quickly as we are able.

To ensure your appointment runs smoothly, please review the following requirements before arriving:
Bring a valid photo ID, Social Security cards for yourself and, if applicable, for all dependent(s) (physical cards required).
Failure to bring the required documents may result in delays or prevent you from being seen at your scheduled appointment.
Property & Rental Tax Season will begin in May, 2026. Please check back for updates!
(Income returns will be completed in addition to Property & Rental.)

Where's My Refund?
For information on the status of your tax return, you can call or check online with the IRS and the MN Department of Revenue.
To use Where’s My Refund?, taxpayers must enter their Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification number, filing status and the exact whole dollar amount of their expected refund from the original tax return for the year they’re checking.
