2025 Tax Services
You can still file for free!
Tri-County Action Program (Tri-CAP), offers fantastic, free and friendly tax services will ensure you get the maximum refund—at no cost to you!
File for free using My Free Taxes, TaxAct or Cash App, listed below.
These services are available to qualifying individuals and families with a household income of $84,000 or less, residing in Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne Counties.

Where's My Refund?
For information on the status of your tax return, you can call or check online with the IRS and the MN Department of Revenue.
To use Where’s My Refund?, taxpayers must enter their Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification number, filing status and the exact whole dollar amount of their expected refund from the original tax return for the year they’re checking.

- Refund amount from tax return (Enter full amount of refund. Include any portion applied to the next year’s estimated tax. Round to the nearest dollar.
