Additional information:
To make changes to your child’s transportation schedule, please contact our office directly at 320-251-1612 or email Rides@Tricap.org, as bus drivers cannot handle these requests. Tri-CAP offers curb-to-curb service, and the driver will select the safest pick-up and drop-off locations. Eating and drinking are not allowed on the bus, and pick-up and drop-off locations must remain the same daily unless an emergency arises. Have your payment ready upon boarding, and ensure your child is ready 10 minutes before the scheduled time. School staff should be outside to receive students 10 minutes before drop-off, and students must be ready before pick-up. For drop-offs, an adult must be visible to receive the child, including at daycares and apartment buildings. If transportation is not needed due to non-school days, weather, or illness, please inform Tri-CAP by phone or email, as we do not track individual school calendars. Bus times may vary, so contact the office if there are delays. For weather-related closures, check WJON 1360 AM or WWJO 98.1 FM, as service may be disrupted in some areas. Children must wear seatbelts, and failure to notify Tri-CAP of missed rides will result in a “No Show” status, with three violations leading to suspension of service. For a complete service policy, visit www.tricap.org. All drivers are thoroughly vetted, holding a Commercial Driver’s License and certifications in First Aid/CPR and defensive driving.
