- Central Minnesota’s connection to transportation resources and assistance
The TRC
The Transportation Resource Center (TRC) will utilize area transport resources to match the passenger with the most suitable and cost effective transportation. The TRC providers could include mass transit, dial-a-ride services, taxi, private driver, volunteer driver and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Residents of Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright Counties can request a ride. The amount of the fare will depend on personal situation, other reimbursement sources, purpose of transportation, distance and type of transportation. Call 320-257-4456 for more information or to request a ride.
The majority of rides will be for health and nutrition related appointments, but all needs will be considered.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible?
Anyone can contact the TRC if they are having troubles arranging a ride. We will use our resources to assist you in any way we can. Additionally, there is currently funding to help pay for transportation for seniors and people with disabilities to health and nutrition related appointments.
What is the service area?
Currently the TRC services all of Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties. We will also transport for health related appointments to Alexandria, Brainerd, Eden Valley, Minneapolis and 7 county Metro locations, New London, Princeton, Rochester, Spicer and Willmar.
How much does it cost?
We use a subsidized suggested donation scale to determine potential cost of each ride. For example, a round trip ride of 20 miles or less has a suggested donation value of $5.00, a round trip ride of 21 to 50 miles has a suggested donation value of $10. A statement will be created and sent to the passenger detailing their rides from the previous month. This statement will have a suggested donation amount for each ride received. If the passenger is unable to give at that level, any donation is appreciated. If the passenger is unable to make a donation, they will still be eligible to receive ride assistance.
How much notice do I need to give before calling to schedule a ride?
48 hours is preferred.
How do I schedule a ride?
Call the TRC to determine if you are eligible. We will then take your ride request information. A ride coordinator will attempt to schedule your ride and get back to you with pick-up times and driver information.
